Daily Chinese Proverb: Action or Words?

Posted by Charlie @ Discovering Mandarin Sunday 6 September 2009 2 comments

This proverb could be used to express the idea of somone with 'more words than action'. Which is to say that someone says they will do something and then not deliver upon their word.

雷声大,雨点小
Léi shēng dà, yǔ diǎn xiǎo.
Thunder is louder than the little rain warrants.
